Job Description:
Large MSG in New York seeks a Gastroenterologist due to patient demand.
We are looking for a well-trained GI to join this busy department of 5 physicians.
Call 1:5. Practice sees Adult and Pediatric patients and has been in existence for more than 13 years and is one of the most successful GI groups in the region.
Candidate MUST posess a "team player" mentality.
All standard endoscopic equipment as well as capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, an impedance manometry lab, a remicaid infusion clinic and wireless pH monitoring.
Procedures performed are Upper and Lower Colonoscopy, Upper and Lower Dilation Flex Sigmoids, Liver Biopsy/Peg Tube placement and change.
There are six procedure rooms and 13 -16 exam rooms including Pediatrics.
Teaching opportunities available with Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents as well as 3rd and 4th year Medical Students
Academic appointment and the ability to participate in clinical research also exists
